FAQ

1. How do I know which level of class to take?
Based on the information you have provided, you will be placed in a class through the instructor’s discretion. Each level of class has a defined style and technique, which is important to master before progressing to the next level.

3. How much are the classes and for how long?
Group classes are $16 for 60 Minutes with discounts for Passion members.
Please visit our Timetable link for more information.

4. How do I get started?
Setting up your first lesson is easy. Just call (03) 9349 4349 and we will schedule your first lesson at your earliest convenience. Otherwise feel free to turn up to any of our group classes on any day of the week, no bookings required.

5. Do you offer private lessons?
Yes we do. Private lessons are a great way to advance to the next level, catch up on missed classes or work on difficult moves with the guidance of your instructor of choice. Private lessons are available with both our male and female instructors and are scheduled to fit a time that is convenient for you and your instructor. Cost of a private lesson is $65 an hour and this fee may be shared between you and your friend (2 for $65 an hour). Note that private lessons must be scheduled in advance and cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the class.

6. What should I wear and bring to class?
There is no dress code for class, but your best bet is to wear something casual and comfortable. Ladies should wear dress shoes that have a closed back and support around the ankle. Gentlemen should wear dress shoes that have a smooth bottom. Sneakers, Timberland boots or slip-on sandals are NOT recommended. Most importantly, the one thing that we recommend you to bring is your SMILE!

7. Where can we go dancing?
We will also keep our students updated on upcoming Events featuring our professional dance team. This provides a great opportunity for students to see their instructors in action, and we hope that this inspires them to take part in our Student Performance Classes.

8. How long does it take to learn?
This largely depends on how regular you attend lessons and how good you aim to be. On average, 2 to 3 months of regular group class attendance and 10 to 15 private lessons would be sufficient for you to feel comfortable dancing on a social level.
