Dance Audition | Party Pilipinas (GMA-7) + Music Video Production

Our well renowned dance choreographer Randolf Winston (Randy) has been invited to direct and choreograph a performance for the Philippines prime-time television show “Party Pilipinas”. A music video submission has been requested along with this invitation. Randy is teaming up with Passion Studio to produce an international class music video for submission. 

This is your opportunity to be a part of this music video. Twelve dancers will be selected to rehearse and train with Randy for this music video production. One of the dancers will be selected to tour with and work side-by-side with Randy for this show.

This is a very rare opportunity to experience a commercial piece with industry professionals.

HIGHLIGHTS

• All of the twelve selected dancers will receive an personalized DVD as video portfolio, with cover custom designed.




• One dancer will be chosen after the filming to travel alongside Randolf Winston and work on Party Pilipinas a commercial show at prime time with GMA7 in the Philippines. This individual will have airfare and accommodation paid for and will perform live on Party Pilipinas, broadcast by the GMA7 channel in the Philippines in July. This dancer will go through the process of rehearsing with the chosen dancers in the Philippines and be involved in the live process of performing and shooting a television dance segment with full production

Requirement for dancers

Round 1 – Video Submission

Application submission requirement

• A dance bio/cv
• A close-up head shot and full body shot
• A solo dance video which is related to the theme of music production. (more details please see audition round 3)

If no photo or video is available, please sms Tony asap (0431 313 099) to arrange a free video/photo shoot for application purpose.

The deadline for video submission is 5PM Friday 6th May, 20 dancers will be selected to attend the second round of auditions. Email & SMS will be send out to successful applicants on 9PM Friday, 6th May

Round 2 – Group Audition

A specific piece of choreography will be taught, applicants are expected to learn the choreography in a limited amount of time for demonstration.

12 dancers (6 male + 6 female) will be selected for the next around of music video production.

Round 3 – Dance music video production

(cost is involved in this production process, total cost of $150 per person, payment arrangement can be arranged upon request)

About Party Pilipinas
Party Pilipinas (translated as Party Philippines, in English) is a Philippine music variety show broadcasted by GMA Network. The show premiered on 28 March 2010 – featuring some of the latest and most popular artists who perform on stage – replacing the defunct SOP Fully Charged.

Randolf Winston

Randolf Winston, is an active choreographer, Stylist (for the entertainment Industry) and Dance teacher. He continues to work extensively from Asia to Australia, Europe and the U.S. He has choreographed an abundance of videos, TV performances and Live tours, many of which have gone on to be award winning pieces of art.

His choreography style focuses on musicality and performance, while capturing the emotion, rhythm, and lyrics of the music. Students can expect a fun and challenging class that enhances their performance with precision by fusing hip-hop, street jazz, and modern choreography. His classes will be an outlet to enhance your natural abilities.

In 2002 he was one of the pioneers in introducing the urban dance movement to Melbourne Australia by opening Australia’s first Dance studio dedicated solely to street dance called Unit’d Styles along with his former business partners Arch Alias of Wicked Force Crew and Vincent Miller of Red Stitch Theatre Company.
